Leaf Rapids has a 19,509 sq. m (210,000 sq. ft.) Town Centre Complex with stores, restaurants, school, library, gymnasium, theatre, Exhibition Centre, healthcare and municipal offices. Outside is a nine hole golf course, a baseball diamond and tennis court.

Even though Leaf Rapids is about 1000 km (620 mi.) north of Winnipeg, there are beaches, lakes in which you can fish, golfing, hiking and hunting.  The National Exhibition Centre is a museum open year round that provides exposure to Canada's human, natural, scientific and artistic heritage.
